Matt+Lilly | Lifestyle Engagement Portraits

I've been having a lot of 'firsts' lately. And Matt+Lilly's engagement session is on that list. This was the type of portrait session that I've never shot before but have always longed for. Lilly and I work together so there was much discussion about what it is she and Matt wanted out of their engagement pictures. Nothing that included skipping through a field of tulips or running hand in hand on the beach but it still needed to reflect their love for each other. So what better way than to shoot in their beloved home with their beloved dogs and do what they do best; enjoy each other's company, love and companionship.

And they do that with cribbage, whiskey, ice cream, pin ball fun, and doggie smooches. I'm so excited for their wedding this September in Vermont (!!!) at Matt's parent's property amongst the Maple trees and a bonfire and good old fashioned home grown family love.
